Media Accreditation

Media participation at LIMA`21 is subject to accreditation by the Ministry Of Defence Malaysia. Accreditation is reserved for members of the press -print media, photo, radio, TV, film and news agencies represent bona fide media organizations [formally registered as a media organization in a country recognized by the Ministry Of Defence Malaysia] -who fully meet media accreditation requirements.

Any media members including editors, writers, photographers and video production crews required to make an individual application for vetting purposes. Online application will be opened from 1st January 2021 to 15th February 2021.


Media Centre Facilities

  • A master schedule of media events throughout LIMA`21
  • Sitemaps aerial display list and schedule and other LIMA`21 press materials
  • Important announcements, notices for media attentions will be informed on notice board and media short briefing.
  • Pigeonholes
  • Light refreshments throughout the day.
  • Limited numbers of desktop computers with internet access for complimentary usage.
  • Workstations and Wi-Fi access to personal laptops and mobile devices.



Media accreditation is not granted to non-editorial staff working for a publishing house (i.e. management, marketing, advertising executives, etc); to researchers, authors and editors of directories; to the information outlets of governments, non-governmental organizations and private companies which are not first and foremost media organizations.

To collect your badge, a valid passport or form of photo ID must be presented. Badge collection at Media Centre reception counter at MIEC hall.

The LIMA`21 secretariat reserves the right to deny or withdraw accreditation of journalists from media organizations whose abuse the privileges so extended or put the accreditation to improper use or act in a way not consistent with the principles.
